COMIC EDDIE PSL
This is the best day of his life, and he's still angry at his father.
Oh how he hates that. Today isn't about him, it's about her. She's beautiful and she smells great and despite Carl Brock looking scornfully at everything that they'd so carefully planned he...
Still watches him move across the dance floor in deep conversation with one of his business partners. This isn't about me. Except - Goddamnit he could have been a little more supportive...
Not thinking of it. Not at all.
The decorations are gorgeous and the warm New York air is beautiful, people are happy and looking at them with love in their eyes. His father's housekeeper, the only mother he'd ever really known, smiled at him. He felt a blush spread across his cheeks before leaning over to Anne and reaching shyly for her hand.
"...We did it."
His smile is nervous and goofy.
"You look beautiful."

She wasn't exactly surprised to find that now having a wedding ring wouldn't stop them (the engagement ring hadn't). But, her casual yet horrifying responses to their advances, in addition to the way Eddie The Bear is eyeing them leaves them in a hurry to pay their check and clear out.
No regrets.
"Of course it was corny. It's not a wedding if there's not at least a little corn; just the perfect amount of corn. I'll have you know, though, that if I go first I'm coming back to haunt you."
OWWWW
He pulls away before tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear. One guy snorts and Eddie raises an eyebrow in his direction.
"No fights though. It's just the two of us. Is it weird I'm looking forward to going sight seeing and having amazing sex?"
sorry/notsorry
No regrets.
"Very weird. We always forget to sight see." She watches him suggestively over the brim of her wine glass as she takes a sip, then checks the time and calls the bartender over for the tab (don't argue Eddie she's paying for both). "We should finish up and head over to our gate."
;_;
He grins hilariously, "Get it? Lei'd?" He offers her his hand, "Cause - Leis. I'm hilarious. English degree. Absolutely brilliant. You married the next Walt Whitman."

"I absolutely fell for you and your unparalleled wit." She pauses and tugs him down for a kiss before moving on towards their gate.
Re: /sobbing
The gate agent is a short blond woman flipping through the computer. Raising an eyebrow at them she checks, "You two nearly missed your flight. We had to give away your first class tickets."
They didn't have to - persay - but she's staring at the two of them, "We've got tickets for you in coach."
Eddie frowns, "...Okay except-I booked these tickets. You can't just give our tickets away."
"We didn't know if you were going to show up, we oversold the flight sir that's policy. Coach isn't bad."
"It's our honeymoon!"
They're going to be arguing for a moment or two unless someone says something.

She does watch Eddie spar with the terrier-like agent for a moment because, admittedly, it's amusing to watch, but eventually she steps forward and puts a hand on his arm and gives him a knowing look before leaning against the counter and affecting a conversationally dangerous tone.
"Hi - Becky. I understand your policy regarding seat displacement. That's how airlines make any money, right? But, I also know that giving up first-class seats doesn't go into effect until fives minutes before the departure, and judging by every single clock I see in the vicinity, we still have ten minutes; our tickets have been prematurely dispersed and we expect our seats to be recovered before we have to take this over your head."
She smiles sweetly, with all the charm of a frenzied shark.

Becky blinked, staring at her hands before frowning, her gaze darting from one to the other, "...Let me see what I can do."
Moments pass before an angry looking older man moves out of the gate growling, "Do you know who I am? I'm with the life foundation! I'll have your whole damn airline for this! You-"
The other words are shouted and he shoots an angry glare at Eddie before the reporter planted a kiss on the top of Anne's head.
"You're incredible. I tell you that lately?"

But, it's her honeymoon and she just wants to get to Hawaii and break the record for boning with her new husband. She shoulders her bag, holds her boarding pass to Becky, and then strides right past Angry Guy as if she owned the place herself.
AT the door she stops and turns, holding a hand out to Eddie, "Come on, love. Lets go get settled."

His features filled with tenderness as he takes her hand and moves to stow his bags. A few others glance at them and he stares back, non apologetic. Sitting beside her he puts a hand on her thigh.
"So when we are in the air I am honestly thinking you and I join the mile high club."

"I just wonder how you expect us to both fit in that closet of a restroom ... but I'm willing to try."

If anyone tried to intervene.
She leans back in to Eddie, reaching a hand up to his cheek as she whispers in his ear, "We wait until just before the final descent, less chances for them to be angry at us." She gives him a kiss, before settling back and pulling out Skymall to kill some time before takeoff.
